Software Developer

We are looking for passionate Software developer to be part of a high-performing and motivated team, working in SAP Hana & Analytics - Data Intelligence team at the La Crosse, WI office.


Our team has the mission to design and develop massively scalable, multi-tenant aware solutions and applications to address Enterprise Data Management problems including Metadata Management and Data Quality. Enterprise data is often siloed in applications, preventing customers and software vendors to harness its full value. As a leading cloud software company, SAP is in a unique position to harness the treasure of data in the various SAP and non-SAP sources and catalog, prepare and enrich this data for analytics. SAP’s Data Intelligence application will provide a unified solution to connect, discover, orchestrate, and manage both internal and external data assets.

The solutions we build also comprise a set of automated services to provide and consume data assets holistically. The development will be driven across our teams in Walldorf, Germany; Palo Alto & La Crosse, US; Istanbul, Turkey; Brazil, China, India, and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as part of the team in La Crosse, WI, you will be joining experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial colleagues to develop enterprise ready software. Your role will span ideation, architecture, design and implementation of services and applications in the HANA & Analytics space. You will help pave the way for our customers to quickly unlock cloud-scale innovation with the complex landscapes they have today. We are building ground-up new products to drive innovation across complex business systems that already exist at customer’s sites as well as drive cross-sell of our cloud portfolio.

We are looking for a technically strong developer with great soft skills including a team-oriented nature, flexibility, agility, great communication skills and the ability to deal with diverse personality types and work styles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS in Computer science or related fields
  • UI app development skills with programming languages like HTML5, CSS, UI5 and frameworks like Angular, React.
  • Solid foundation in computer science with competencies in Data structures, Algorithms, & Microservices
  • Programming skills for development in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python
  • Experience with building and deploying services in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud will be an added advantage
  • Experience with container-based technologies like Kubernetes & Docker
  • Strong inter-personal, communication and presentation skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in software development with the above-mentioned competencies: 0-2 years. New graduates will be considered.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, DevOps, and alignment with corporate Software Development Lifecycle
  • Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open minded, resourceful and flexible with the ability to learn quickly
